Dr. Davit Chelidze is the Chief Specialist of the Statistical Accounting and Analytical Division of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. He has many years of professional and pedagogical experience. In recent years, he has held various positions in public agencies, including the Ministry of Tax Revenues of Georgia, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Employment, and the Committee on Economic Policy and Reforms of the Parliament of Georgia. He was an advisor to the Minister of Finance; Participated in the Economic Crime and Money Laundering Program in Georgia implemented by the American University and George Mason University.
Dr. Davit Chelidze actively carries out scientific-research activities. He is the author and co-author of about 40 scientific papers, participant and speaker of numerous international and local conferences, workshops, seminars. He was actively involved in professional development programs, including successfully completing a course in Energy and Policy Research at the College of Fuel and Energy Research in Oxford, UK, and “Supervision of the process of legalization of illegal income and the fight against the financing of terrorism” organized by the International Monetary Fund at the United Institute of Vienna (JVI).
