Tamar Khakhishvili is an assistant professor at East European University, holding a PhD Degree in Business Administration. Additionally, she serves as the deputy chairman of the Protected Areas Agency within the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and is a member of the National Commission for UNESCO Affairs in Georgia.
With extensive professional experience, Tamar Khakhishvili previously held the position of head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture. She also held various roles in Tbilisi Municipality City Hall from 2011 to 2017. Over her 12-year tenure in governmental bodies, Khakhishvili managed projects funded by international organizations such as UNDP, EU, ENPARD, and UNESCO. She has participated in training programs and visits to over 20 countries worldwide, including the USA, England, Korea, China, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, and others.
Tamar Khakhishvili actively engages in international conferences, projects, and seminars, and has authored numerous scientific reports and publications.
