East European University Students Self-Government Election has been held today, December 15, through the electronic election platform ElectionBuddy.
41% of students eligible to vote participated in the elections. 63.1% of the votes were received by the student group “New Student Vision”, and 36.9% by the student group “Student Unity”.
The winner of the elections is the student group “New Student Vision”. Tamar Khvedelidze became the President of the Students Self-government, and Mirian Mikava became the Vice-President.
The elections were held in a calm atmosphere. A small number of technical issues were reported, that had been responded to immediately by the Election Commission. The revealed shortcomings did not affect the election results.
