EEU Students Self-Government Election Results!

East European University Students Self-Government Election has been held today, December 19.

16.7% of students eligible to vote participated in the elections. 39.1% of the votes were received by the student group “Students Union”, and 35.7% by the student group “Voice of Freedom”.

The winner of the elections is the student group “Students Union”. Magdalena Kirkitadze became the President of the Students Self-government, and Ana Avaliani became the Vice-President.

The elections were held in a calm atmosphere. A small number of technical issues were reported, that had been responded to immediately by the Election Commission. The revealed shortcomings did not affect the election results.

Election results can be appealed within 24 hours of the publication of the results. The candidate student group, observer, election commission member or voter (EEU student with active student’s status) has the right to appeal the results. Complaints must be submitted to the Election Commission by presenting to the Document Procession Department of the University.
