On October 11th of the current year, Vice President of the California Baptist University, Dr Larry Linamen, visited the East European University. Dr Larry Linamen was hosted by the Vice-Rectors of the East European University – Dr Shalva Machavariani and Ms Tea Imedadze.
The parties discussed cooperation prospectives between the universities in both academic as well as scientific areas. The universities expressed readiness for cooperation in exchanging the students and staff, the implementation of scientific research projects and the development of joint educational programs. In addition, EEU and CBU agreed on signing a memorandum of understanding and outlined future cooperation plans.
CBU was founded in 1950 in Riverside, California. It offers over 150 undergraduate, over 45 graduate and 7 doctoral programs in the following fields: Business, Engineering, Architecture, Education, Psychology, Social and Healthcare Sciences, etc. CBU has about 12 000 students from different countries of the world. CBU was recently ranked number five for “best university campus” in the US (niche.com).
The collaboration between the East European University and California Baptist University gives the EEU students and academic staff a wonderful opportunity to study, research and participate in various interesting projects in the USA.
