On February 25, 2023, at 14:00 p.m., the presentation of the book:,, “International Law on Police Cooperation, Fight Against Transnational Organized Crime” by EEU professor Shalva Kvinikhidze, will be held in the big conference hall of EEU (401).
Organized crime and its various forms, within the borders of one country or transnational ones represent one of the main challenges and problems of the modern world.
The law enforcement structures of several countries through the formats of bilateral and multilateral cooperation of international organizations are actively involved in the fight against it.
The law of international police cooperation is somewhat new for Georgia, considering that this field of law with legal basics, established practices and institutions has been formed recently.
Accordingly, the book discusses the historical development of this field of law, subjects, sources of law, characteristics necessary for the formation of the field, the foundations, forms and types of international police cooperation, both globally and on the case of Georgia.
