On February 3, 2024, with the support of the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences and the Department of Scientific Research and Development of East European University, the First Brain Symposium 2024 was held by the Student Club Neurozeal. The symposium was focused on the etiology, pathogenesis, developmental features and modern treatment approaches to Alzheimer’s disease, considered as the global challenge of twenty-first century.
The conference was opened by Elene Zurabishvili, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences, which was moderated by Associate Professor, Psychiatrist Nana Zavradashvili and Invited Professor, Neurosurgeon Lika Khorbaladze.
More than a hundred medical doctor’s programe students attended the event from various higher educational institutions of Georgia.
After the end of the conference, certificates were given to the participants.
