Dr. Bachana Jishkariani is the head of the Georgian, German and International Criminal Law Institute. He is a graduate of the University of Munich Doctoral School of Law. He has been engaged in pedagogical and professional activities for years. At various times he was a fellow of the German Academic Exchange Service, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and the Max Planck Institute. He worked for the law firm Becker Büttner Held München and also led seminar groups at the Faculty of Law of the University of Munich. He is an expert at the law firm “House of Law”.

Dr. Bachana Jishkariani is actively engaged in scientific-research activities. He is the author of up to 10 textbooks and scientific papers in the field of criminal law. He is a participant and speaker at numerous international and local conferences. He is a participant and coordinator of various seminars, research projects and exchange programs as well.
