Dr. Tamar Gvaramadze has been the First Deputy Public Defender of Georgia since 2018, and since 2017 she has been an expert at the GIZ-EU funded project “Promoting Administrative Law Reform in Georgia”. At the same time, she is a board member of the “Georgian Young Lawyers` Association” and the e International Steering Committee of the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre. In the past years she held the position of the Head of the School of Law – at the “Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia”, as well as the position of Executive Director – the “Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association”. She is still actively involved in pedagogical activities.
Dr. Tamar Gvaramadze is a holder of a research stipend at the German University of Administrative Sciences, author of numerous scientific publications and books, participant of international and local conferences, seminars and workshops.
