Mr. Gizo Chelidze serves as the Head of the Hydro-melioration and Land Management Department Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, He is the Head of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations at East European University. He has many years of pedagogical and professional work experience in the public, private and non-governmental sectors. Since 2006 he has been teaching lectures on international relations, European studies, international negotiations and public administration. Represented Georgia in the process of association with the European Union, was the main negotiator on environmental issues in the negotiation of a free trade agreement with the European Free Trade Association, China and Hong Kong. He was also involved in the bilateral format of the Strategic Partnership between the Georgian and US governments, and was a commissioner from Georgia to the Black Sea Commission. Currently he coordinates the preparation and implementation of international projects with international financial and donor organizations (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, etc.).
Mr. Gizo Chelidze is a participant and speaker at a number of local and international ministerials, conferences and workshops.
