🔻The Rector of East European University Davit Cherkezishvili and Vice-Rector in the field of science, professor Shalva Machavariani visited Geneva upon the official invitation of SWISS UMEF UNIVERSITY of Switzerland, where they took place in the workshops on university development mechanisms and opportunities. Together with Georgia, representatives from universities in France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Algeria and Armenia participated in workshops, where EEU Vice Rector Shalva Machavariani presented a report.
🔻Within the framework of the visit, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between East European University and Geneva University – SWISS UMEF UNIVERSITY. According to the agreement, the students of Bachelor, Master and PhD programs of East European University will be able to pass internships in Switzerland, SWISS UMEF UNIVERSITY of Geneva and partner organizations, conduct research and prepare appropriate reports, while the students’ leadership shall be provided by the academic staff of SWISS UMEF UNIVERSITY. The memorandum also includes joint research of international scientific and student projects by involvement of SWISS UMEF UNIVERSITY and EEU academic personnel and students.
🔻The memorandum was signed by SWISS UMEF UNIVERSITY President Djawed Sangel and Rector of East European University – Davit Cherkezishvili.
