Mr. Giorgi Gakheladze is the founder / board member of the Association “Parents for Education”. He has been engaged in professional and pedagogical activities for years. He is the Head of the Master’s Program in Educational Research and Administration at East European University. He has many years of experience in administrative and expert activities. He held the position of Head of Continuing Education at the East European University. In recent years he held various positions at the National Center for Teachers’ Professional Development, LEPL National Curriculum and Assessment Center, LEPL National Center for Accreditation of Education, Public Defender’s Office. He is the founder of the Critical Thinking Society and the Georgian Association of Civic Educators.
Mr. Giorgi Gakheladze is actively engaged in scientific research activities. He is the author and translator of several methodological manuals, author of more than 10 local and international scientific publications, participant and speaker of numerous international and local scientific conferences, seminars, workshops, co-author of various National Curriculum and Education Reform documents. He is a researcher implementing numerous scientific grant projects. Over the years he has been involved in professional development programs as a participant and trainer, including coaching professional development programs for teachers and school leaders in Georgia and abroad.
