About Research Ethics Committee
The Committee is a permanent collegial body of the University. The Committee consists of 5 (five) permanent members. The Committee shall conduct its activities on the basis of the principles of legality, collegiality, equality, confidentiality, good faith and independence:
The purpose of the Committee is to facilitate the protection and development of the principles of academic integrity and research ethics at the University
The Committee:
- Provides advice and guidance to university staff and doctoral students on issues related to academic integrity and research ethics;
- Develops guidelines on research ethics and promotes researchers’ awareness of research ethics standards and academic integrity;
- Provides an opinion on the compliance of research conducted on behalf of the University with the existing standards of ethics in the cases provided by this Code;
- Discusses ethical issues related to research projects in order to uphold ethical principles of research;
