The project aims to study the process of internationalization of scientific research in Georgia from 1991 to 2021 and analyze its impact on the academic activities of professors and teachers. The project will investigate:
- The dynamics and characteristics of internationalization of scientific research in Georgia.
- Factors that promote and hinder internationalization.
- The impact of internationalization on the research and teaching activities of professors and teachers.
- The attitudes of academic staff towards the process of internationalization.
The study will use an interdisciplinary approach, combining social sciences (economics, sociology, higher education studies) and the philosophy of higher education. The results will contribute to a better understanding of the internationalization process in higher education in Georgia and the development of relevant policies.
