On May 27, Public Lecture ‘‘Migration, Multilingualism and Education” was held in EEU small Conference Hall for the personnel, students and alumni of the university, organized by Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) of East European University (EEU).
Professors of the University of Education Upper Austria (PÄDAGOGISCHE HOCHSCHULE OÖ) Dr. Marion Döll and Dr. Jan Böehm visited East European University within the frameworks of ERASMUS+ exchange program.

In a public lecture, Dr. Marion Döll and Dr. Jan Böehm discussed key problems and challenges of educational migration in Central Europe, as well as language issues in the context of migration.
The public lecture was attended by the Rector of East European University – Kakhaber Lazarashvili, the Head of Migration and Diaspora Research Center (EEU) – Lela Goginava, the Head of Center for Interdisciplinary Studies (EEU) – Giorgi Tavadze, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Engineering – Vasil Kikamentadze, representatives of Education Department and other administrative staff, students, alumni, and professors.
An interesting and interactive concluding discussion was held at the end of the public lecture.
