During February of the current year, a series of orientation meetings was held for first-semester students enrolled in the English-language one-cycle Medical Doctor (MD) program of the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences.
Throughout these meetings, the faculty administration introduced students to the key aspects of the Medical Doctor program, including the program structure and specific features, the assessment system, the timeline of the academic process, the use of the EEU-EL learning platform, the academic calendar, examination procedures, and the appeal process. Students also received information about library resources and the use of the electronic library, student services available at the university, student clubs, as well as academic, scientific, and extracurricular activities.
In addition, the meetings covered the structure and role of the student self-government, opportunities for student participation in the governance of the university and the faculty, the university’s internal regulations and principles of academic integrity, the Clinical and Practical Skills Development Center, the Open Heart-University Hospital, and other clinical training sites.
At the end of the meetings, students toured the university infrastructure and took memorative photos.
