Dr. Giorgi Tavadze is the Deputy Head of the Doctoral Research Development Center at East European University and the Head of the Varlam Cherkezishvili Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. He has been actively involved in pedagogical and professional activities for many years. At different times he has been the Assistant Director and Senior Researcher of the Research Institute of Philosophy and Social Sciences. He actively translates different works: he has translated into Georgian the works of Friedrich Nietzsche, John Dewey, Thomas Paine, Carl Schmidt, Immanuel Kant and other thinkers.
Dr. Giorgi Tavadze has been actively engaged in scientific-research activities for years. He is the author of numerous local and international scientific papers, monographs and publications, participant and speaker of scientific conferences, participant of various research projects and expeditions, head of trainings and seminars, scientific editor and reviewer of scientific papers. His research interests include: postcolonial and posttotalitarian studies, history of ideas, philosophy of politics and law, political sociology, philosophical geography, sociology of places and spaces.
