Do you want to get acquainted with the institutions of the European Union and take part in the simulation negotiations for EU membership?
Within the framework of Europe Week, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, together with the European Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, provides an opportunity for first- and second-year students of Georgian universities to participate in a simulation of EU enlargement negotiations.
The seminar will be held remotely, online. The participants of the seminar, within the assigned role, will involve the participants in the second phase of membership, negotiation, after receiving the candidate status.
During the simulation game, participants are given the role of MEP, EU Commissioner, candidate country representative or media representative.
You can participate if you are:
- First or second year student of different universities of Georgia;
- 18-23 years old;
- Interested in international relations and politics;
- Fluent in English
The seminar will be conducted online through ZOOM, May 4-7, 2021 (4 hours per day);
The certificate awarding ceremony will be held at the Parliament of Georgia on May 14, 2021.
The most successful participants of the simulation game will be invited to a round table debate in the Parliament of Georgia, and then in Brussels in the training tour of the EU Institutions in 2022.
