East European University (EEU) is announcing the Erasmus+ Scholarship Exchange Program Competition for EEU students for the spring semester of the academic year 2024-2025 (duration of the spring semester: classes – 03.02.25-22.05.25; examination period – 06.06.2025-25.07.2025) at the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
The exchange program is announced as an Erasmus + program funded by the European Commission within the framework of International Credit Mobility (ICM), based on the partnership agreement between EEU and the University of Coimbra.
East European University offers its students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, specifically in the Bachelor’s programs in Psychology and International Relations, the opportunity to spend the spring semester at the University of Coimbra, enrich their academic experience and engage in unforgettable international activities.
Erasmus + scholarship includes:
- Monthly stipend: 850 €;
- Travel expenses: 820 €;
- Insurance Reimbursement: up to 250 €.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected through an open competition;
- Document Submission Period: 11.10.2024 – 24.10.2024.
The competition is open only to students with active status in EEU Bachelor’s programs in Psychology and International Relations, who are at least in their second year of study and possess a minimum English proficiency level of B2.
The selection process will be carried out in 3 stages:
- Documentation Review;
- Exam in English – 28.10.2024 (Sample Test);
- Interview – 30.10.2024.
Candidates will be exempt from the exam in English if they present one of the following documents:
- Certificate of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, CAMBRIDGE) obtained in the last 2 years;
- Certificate confirming at least one semester of study at a foreign university where English was the medium of instruction.
Application Documents
Interested students must submit the following documents to EEU from October 11 to October 24 of the current year:
- Application Form (enclosed);
- Statement;
- Motivation letter;
- Copy of passport (or ID in the absence of a passport);
- CV (European format in English);
- Certificate of student status;
- Extract current concerning reference to GPA;
- Proof of English language proficiency (minimum B2 level) (if any);
- Letter of recommendation.
Students, who would like to participate in the competition, must submit the following documents to the International Relations Department of EEU (Room 102) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm., or at the following email address: international@eeu.edu.ge
