The purpose of the education fair was to present Georgia as an educational hub and to introduce the programs, offers and other opportunities of higher educational institutions to those who wish to continue their studies in Georgia.
The education fair was opened by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to India, Mr. Archil Dzuliashvili. In his speech, he spoke about the potential of the education sector in Georgia and the importance of the international education fair in order to increase access to Georgian higher education for international students.
Acting Rector of the University, Kakhaber Lazarashvili, Vice Rector for International and Administrative Affairs, Tea Imedadze, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Healthcare Sciences, Elene Zurabishvili, participated in the education fair on behalf of the East European University.
Presentations were held in parallel with the education fair. EEU representatives introduced the educational programs, advantages and offers of the university to the interested persons.
The education fair was attended by those wishing to continue their studies in Georgia, representatives of local universities and recruitment agencies from India and other Asian countries.
It should be noted that this was the first education fair of Georgian education outside the country, in which 16 Georgian universities jointly participated.
The education fair was a success and aroused great interest among the visitors. Accordingly, it was planned to make it regular and held in several regions of India in the future.
