Speakers:
- KRZYSZTOF KOZLOWSKI – Vice Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and Head of the Institute of International Studies (SGH). A graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science and the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, where he also received his doctoral degree. His research focuses on political theory, methodology of sciences and game theory. An author of numerous publications on Central and East Asia;
- FILIP BRYJKA – Analyst in the International Security Programme, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Political Studies of Polish Academy of Sciences. Participant of international projects on countering disinformation funded by NATO Public Diplomacy Division research grants. His area of expertise includes hybrid threats and NATO/EU crisis response operations.
Moderator: Associate Professor Grigol Julukhidze, Doctor of International Relations, Founder and Director of the Analytical Center “Foreign Policy Council”. Dr. Grigol Julukhidze is an analyst of the Visegrad Group of States in the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, his field of research is the political systems of the Visegrad States and Russian propaganda.
During a public lecture, guests invited East European University will discuss the elements that are an integral part of the information war of the Russian Federation: how Russian propaganda works and what are the goals of the Kremlin’s disinformation campaign.
The presentation of the book “Platform against disinformation” will also take place within the framework of the meeting.
At the end of the public lecture, a summary discussion will be held.
