On May 15, 2024, the East European University (EEU) together with the HR Professionals Guild (HRPG) held a student scientific-practical conference dedicated to Human Resources Day: “The multidisciplinary challenges of HR in the age of artificial intelligence.”
The goal of the conference was to stimulate the active involvement of students in scientific activities and to promote the generation of new ideas.
The conference was opened by the Rector of East European University, Professor Kakhaber Lazarashvili. The participants were welcomed by the head of the human resources management master’s program of the Faculty of Business and Engineering of EEU, the founder of the HR Professionals Guild (HRPG), Professor Lili Bibilashvili.
Students of East European University and various higher educational institutions participated in the event.

Within the framework of the conference, modern challenges in the field of HR were discussed in the context of the development of artificial intelligence. The speakers presented their vision of the multidisciplinary issues that are relevant in the field of human resources management in the conditions of technological transformation.
The conference participants discussed such key topics as:
- Using artificial intelligence to automate HR processes;
- Necessity of retraining employees in the new technological reality;
- Importance of developing digital skills and more.
The conference was held in the format of a panel discussion. The participants exchanged their positions, ideas and conclusions, and also shared practical experience.
Such a platform contributes to the formation of young researchers and their integration in the field of HR, which is especially important in today’s dynamic and changing environment.
At the end of the conference, all participants were awarded certificates.
