Program Advantages
  • Focus on preparing competitive graduates equipped with appropriate competencies and qualifications;
  • Curriculum based on successful practices in the field and consideration of international experience (including the University of Amsterdam, King’s College London, Duke University, etc.);
  • Opportunity to earn a double degree in cooperation with the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw (Poland);
  • Integration of modern teaching methods for sharing knowledge and practical experience, as well as the active involvement of students in research activities throughout the learning process;
  • Practice and internship at the Neurotechnological Laboratory Z at EEU or at a psychology clinic;
  • Employment opportunities in preschool and school institutions; rehabilitation and social adaptation centers; the Social Service Agency; human resource management departments of various organizations; and the PR industry.
Prerequisite for admission to the program

Right to enroll  on The Bachelor’s educational program in psychology a citizen of Georgia having a full general education certificate/certificate or an equivalent document, based on the results of the unified national exams, who has passed  as a mandatory subject English language in order to be enrolled at Academic program.

Without unified national exams, admission/enrollment of students to The Bachelor educational program in psychology is carried out in accordance with the current legislation.

Enrollment in The Bachelor’s educational program in Psychology by mobility is available twice a year, established by the terms of The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and sport of Georgia, the terms, in compliance with mandatory procedures and rules established by the University.

Enrollment in the undergraduate educational program in psychology, or enrollment by the transfer rule from a recognized higher educational institution of a foreign country is carried out on the basis of the decision made by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and sport of Georgia,.

Program Curriculum Overview

Bachelor’s Program in Psychology aims to develop students’ comprehensive theoretical knowledge of psychology (including its fields, methods, development, and ethical foundations) and the practical ability to analyze, communicate, and solve complex problems, conduct research, and apply critical thinking using appropriate tools and data in diverse psychological contexts. The total volume of the program is 180 ECTS credits, 60 ECTS per year, 30 ECTS per semester. The program consists of the following components:

  • Compulsory courses of the free component
  • Elective courses of the free component
  • Compulsory courses of the core field of study
  • Elective courses of the core field of study

Compulsory courses of the core field of study include a practical component (10 ECTS) and the completion of a Bachelor’s Thesis (10 ECTS).
