Professor of Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law, Freiburg and the head of research department of the law reforms, Eliko Tsiklauri-Lammich delivered public lecture “Transitional Countries and Law’’ at the East European University. The following topics were discussed at the lecture: System changes in the State, example of Germany that changed system structure, law norms and valuables for three times: Since the first and second wars and collapse of soviet union.
Eliko Tsiklauri-Lammich also talked about the developed and developing countries as well as third world’s countries with the highest indicators of poverty and their value system as well. She also talked about the relationships of EU and Georgia and emphasized perspectives and challenges of Georgia as the developing country on the way to becoming EU member country.
Two hour lecture was attended by EEU students along with the East European University rector, Dr. David Cherkezishvili and academic personnel.
