Competition for the position of researcher at the Center for International Studies and Development at the Faculty of International and Political Studies

The Center for International Studies and Development will employ as an assistant professor a researcher interested in conducting research under the Promoting Order at the Edge of Turbulence (POET) project, responsible in particular for the Engaging China’s Pandemic Diplomacy work package – an additional advantage will be the concentration of research on international relations in Asia, great powers , foreign policy analysis.

• Full-time employment contract for the duration of the project, i.e. until June 30, 2025;

• hold at least a doctoral degree;
• have relevant scientific achievements;
• take an active part in scientific life;

1. have relevant scientific achievements in the field of social sciences (including interdisciplinary research), primarily in the field of political science, international relations and economics, with particular emphasis on complexity, international relations in the Asia-Pacific region and the Eurasian area;
2. take an active part in scientific life;
3. have a very good command of the English language;
4. have experience in quantitative methods and big data analysis;
5. have knowledge of theories and methods in the field of international relations;
6. have the ability to conduct field research;
7. have the ability to write publications;
8. they conduct research in the field of international relations in Asia, great powers, foreign policy analysis (an additional advantage).
