On April 2nd, 2022 the East European University hosted the teacher’s Conference at the new campus of the university on “Feminization of migration and its impact on adolescents”. The conference aimed learning the impact of feminization of labour migration on the mental health of adolescents, the quality of their education and the ethical side of the relationship with the immigrant mother.
Welcoming speeches were given by Kakhaber LAZARASHVILI, the Rector of the East European University and Tea IMEDADZE – the Vice -Rector for International and Administrative Affairs.
The first part of the conference was opened by Ms. Khatia ANTIA, DAAD Doctoral Researcher at Heidelberg Institute of Global Health with the presentation on “Effects of International Labour Migration on the Mental Health and Well-Being of Left-Behind Children: A Systematic Literature Review”.
