At East European University (EEU), the second phase of the training series aimed at developing research skills for students of the Faculty of Education Sciences has been successfully completed. The educational course on research methods also included a practical component.
The training was fully funded by EEU and was conducted over a four-week period.
The course was delivered by Giorgi Tavadze, PhD in Philosophy, Professor at EEU, and Head of the Varlam Cherkezishvili Interdisciplinary Research Center.
Within the framework of the course, students of the Master’s Program in Educational Research and Administration explored:
- Qualitative research design: research objectives and conceptual framework
- Qualitative research design: literature review, research questions, methods, and validity
- Coding techniques: first- and second-cycle coding methods
The training was conducted with active student engagement. All participants were awarded certificates upon completion of the course.
