Professors Karol Adam Karski and Elżbieta Karska delivered public lecture on the theme: ’’Legal Framework of Georgia-EU Cooperation’’ and ’’The Significance of Education Development on the Way of European Integration’’ at the East European University premises.
Mr. Mariusz Maszkiewicz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Georgia attended the event who also addressed students as well as academic staff, by outlining the issues related to getting close relations of the universities of Georgia and Poland, and the integration procedures of Georgian students to European entities. He expressed satisfaction that EEU students will be eligible to acquaint with the European Parliament closer and acquire practical experience. He congratulated Professors Karol Adam Karski and Elżbieta Karska Honorary Doctor award titles.
At the end of the event David Cherkezishvili, EEU rector handled over the Honorary Doctor award diplomas to Professors Karol Adam Karski and Elżbieta Karska.
EEU rector indicated that cooperation, academic activities and support of these professors serves as the crucial contribution to the development of the university, its further successfulness and students awareness raising as well on the way of establishing European values.
