East European University takes various measures to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus since February 2020.
On a daily basis, wet treatment of the university, the building is carried out with the appropriate disinfectant solution. The treatment includes cleaning of the door handles, stair railings, the administration workspace, etc.
The hand disinfection corner is set up at the entrance of the university, where 4 disinfectants are placed with the appropriate instruction for the use. The disinfection corner is separated by a special barrier, which ensures that a person cannot enter the university building without hand disinfection treatment. This space is strictly controlled by university security staff.
As an additional measure on March 12, 2020, the University building was disinfected by the company “Geodesy+”. In particular, the university building was fully treated with the appropriate disinfection solution: corridors, conference halls, cafeteria, auditoriums, administration rooms, etc.
Apart from the above mentioned, the Infection Control specialist has been hired at the university, with the aim of monitoring the condition of the persons entering the university premises since March 19, 2020, and supervising the process insuring infection control mechanisms in the facility.
