Student Conference: Innovative Research Project – Turn an Idea into a Reality!

• A student project can be submitted by a student or group of students from all three study levels (BA, MA and doctorate) with an active status at the East European University. The group may also include a graduate of the East European University;
• The duration of the project can be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 months;
• The amount requested from the fund in the case of a research project should not exceed GEL 5000;
• Student scholarship should not exceed 1500 GEL and in case of two or more students 2000 GEL;
• It is not allowed to submit more than one application to the grant competition by the same person.
• The person authorized to submit a research project should have a supervisor – (free of charge involved in the project) doctor or equivalent, academic or visiting staff of the East European University.

Projects submitted in accordance with the terms of participation in the conference will be evaluated by the Commission (for detailed information on the evaluation criteria: see the evaluation criteria of scientific-research projects😉

• Registration for project applications for participation in the conference will be available from April 16 to May 28 at the following e-mail address: sciencepapers@eeu.edu.ge
• The conference will be held on June 9th. Conference start time is 11:00 p.m.

5. For the research project, a letter of consent of a foreign consultant (if any) on participation in the project and the ID card;
6. ID card;
7. Student status approval notices issued by the East European University for the students involved in the project;
8. Student’s autobiography (CV);
9. Letter of Co-funding Commitment (if any, see the template under Annex 5).

• April 29, 2022, 18:00 (for students of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences);
• May 2, 2022, 19:00 (for students of the Faculty of Health Sciences).

The submitted scientific-research project proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Commission. Conference participants will be awarded electronic certificates and authors of creative ideas will have the opportunity to participate in the final stage of the EEU Student Scientific Grant Competition and win a student research grant – up to a maximum amount of GEL 5,000.
