The East European University (EEU) hosted invited Professors from the leading universities of the world. During the week, East European University was visited by:
- Paul Gibbs – Professor at the East European University, Middlesex University (UK) and University of Technology Sydney (Australia)
- Panayiotis Angelides – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Professor of School Education, University of Nicosia (Cyprus).
- Louise Dellingwater – Professor of British Civilization, Sorbonne University (France).
- Anatoly Alekseenko – Professor of International Higher Education, Hong Kong University of Education (China).
During the week, the scientists met with the academic, administrative staff and students of the East European University, who shared their experiences of academic activities and challenges in the higher education sector.
Within the framework of the said visit, the presentation of the book “The unequal costs of Covid-19 on well-being in Europe”, published in the framework of the cooperation of Sorbonne University and EEU, was held at the East European University. The paper reviews the post-Covid situation in Europe, and also describes the impact of the pandemic on the social well-being of the population, including in Georgia.
The professors of the East European University worked on the situation of our country, “The Economic Repercussions of Covid-19 and Wellbeing in Georgia” in the book edited by Prof. Paul Gibbs and Prof. Louise Dellingwater . The authors of the paper are

As a result of the negotiations, the parties outlined future plans, which include the start of a new scientific project with the Sorbonne University, as well as scientific work with the University of Hong Kong.
The representatives of the Sorbonne, Hong Kong and Nicosia universities have expressed their readiness to sign a memorandum of cooperation with East European University, which will facilitate the mobility of academic staff and student exchange programs.
