East European University and Grigol Robakidze University, in collaboration with the World Economic Research Institute (WERI), and the Faculty of Labor Sciences at Seville University, hosted the XV International Conference on Economics (EconWorld2023@Tbilisi).
The objective of the conference was to convene scientists from various regions of the world, facilitate the exchange of ideas, foster discussions on recent findings in both theoretical and applied research, and establish a research network for future joint collaborations.

The conference program included plenary sessions, panels and presentations.
On June 15, on the second day of the conference, the East European University hosted the participants and the attending public. The event was held face-to-face, in the large conference hall of the university.
The participants and the attending public were welcomed by the rector of East European University Mr. Kakhaber Lazarashvili, the dean of the Faculty of Business and Engineering Mr. Vasil Kikutadze, the head of the Research and Development Department Mr. Davit Sikharulidze, the head of the Scientific Research Center of Grigol Robakidze University Mr. Gocha Ochigava and the Honorary Doctor of Grigol Robakidze University Ms. Rozmarina Dubovska (Slovakia). The event was chaired by Grigol Robakidze University professor Mr. Vakhtang Charaia.
The conference was opened by the professor of Anglia Ruskin University (Great Britain), Ms. Denise Hawkes.
Conference participants from France, Turkey, and Thailand also presented their research reports at the event.
