From April 23 to 25, 2025, representatives of East European University (EEU) – Vice-Rector, Professor of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Zviad Rogava and Advisor to the Rector on International and Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Tea Imedadze – participated in the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA) Annual Conference held in Sofia, Bulgaria. This year’s conference marked ELFA’s 30th anniversary and was themed “30 Years of ELFA: Legal Education between Traditions and Modernities”.
The conference provided a platform for legal academics and professionals to reflect on the development of legal education over the last thirty years, focusing on how traditional methods have evolved to meet contemporary challenges.
During the conference, the EEU delegation met with representatives from existing partner universities and explored opportunities with prospective partners. These interactions focused on fostering academic collaborations and joint initiatives.
Participation in ELFA 2025 was important for EEU in order to ensure its legal education in alignment with current global trends, international standards, and best practices.
