On November 26, 2025 East European University (EEU) hosted Guy Tonella a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and a Trainer at the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis. He conducted a seminar on the topic ,,The Psychotherapeutic Method of Bioenergetic Analysis’’.
The event was jointly organized by East European University and the psychological counseling center ,,Idilia’’.
Guy Tonella was introduced to the audience by Tinatin Pantsulaia, EEU Professor and Head of ,,Idilia’’. The seminar participants were also greeted by Zukhra Matsaberidze Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences.
The trainer introduced the attendees to the history of bioenergetic analysis as a body-centered psychotherapeutic method. He also discussed its connection with psychoanalysis.
The theoretical seminar was followed by an interactive workshop. Participants personally experienced interventions based on body movement, breathing techniques, and emotional tension management.
The seminar on the psychotherapeutic method of bioenergetic analysis was attended by undergraduate psychology students and staff from EEU as well as practitioners interested in the field.
The seminar was conducted in an interactive mode with active involvement from the audience.
