For the first time in Georgia, an educational experiment was conducted comparing the American simulation-based game technology Capstone 2.0 with traditional teaching methods.
The aim of the educational experiment was to assess the effectiveness of using simulation-based games in the teaching and learning process, in comparison with traditional instructional methods, within the course Strategic Management.
The experiment was carried out as part of the doctoral dissertation research of Tariel Elashvili, a PhD candidate in the Education Sciences program at East European University (EEU), under the supervision of Professor Paul Gibbs. The study received approval from the EEU Research Ethics Committee and was funded by East European University through an internal university research grant.
The course was conducted from May 19 to June 14, 2025.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a joint certificate from the American Simulation Center (Capsim) and East European University (EEU).
