The Latvian government announces a competition for study and summer school scholarships.
The scholarship programs provide:
- Funding for studies at Latvian universities for students and academic staff of higher education institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year;
- Funding for participation in summer schools organized by Latvian universities.
Monthly scholarship amount and duration:
- Bachelor’s students – 500 EUR, duration: 10 months;
- Master’s students – 600 EUR, duration: 10 months;
- Doctoral students – 700 EUR, duration: 11 months.
Applications for these scholarship programs will be accepted until April 1, 2026. Interested students can submit their applications online via the following link: https://scholarships.viaa.gov.lv.
