On March 20, 2026, East European University (EEU), in collaboration with the Bank of Georgia, hosted an informational meeting at the university’s conference hall on the topic: “Career Opportunities at the Bank of Georgia.”
The event was opened by Vasil Kikutadze, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Engineering, who, in his welcoming remarks, underscored the importance of such initiatives in fostering students’ professional orientation and supporting their career development.
The primary objective of the meeting was to enhance students’ career awareness, facilitate their professional growth, and provide relevant information on employment opportunities. The session included an overview of the Bank of Georgia’s core areas of activity and its organizational culture. Particular emphasis was placed on career opportunities available to students, recruitment processes, and stages of professional development within the organization.
The speakers – Etuna Kobalia, Head of Recruitment and Tamara Chanturishvili, Head of Learning and Development in Communications – presented the audience with practical insights into employment procedures and career advancement at the Bank of Georgia.
The meeting was attended by students from various faculties of EEU, who were given the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with representatives of the Bank of Georgia. Some participants also shared their contact information for potential future collaboration.
At the conclusion of the event, a brief intellectual quiz was conducted, after which symbolic gifts were distributed to the attending students.
The meeting was conducted in a professional and collaborative environment, providing students with practical insights into career development opportunities within one of the leading financial institutions.
