Chinese Government Scholarships

• Age: Under 45 years old;
• Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree;
• Professional experience: At least three years of work experience.

Preference will be given to candidates whose academic background and professional experience are relevant to their chosen master’s degree program.

Applicants must obtain a Pre-admission Letter from one of the participating universities and subsequently register through the program’s online application portal: https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login.

In addition, applicants must belong to one of the following professional categories:

• Mid- or senior-level government officials;
• Senior-level managers of institutions or enterprises;
• Administrative staff members of universities or scientific research institutions;
• Individuals with professional experience in international organisations.

The deadline for submitting the online application is 29 March 2027.

The candidate selection process consists of two stages:

1. Preliminary Assessment: The China Scholarship Council (CSC) reviews the submitted application documents and assesses candidates’ eligibility against the program requirements.
2. Expert Assessment: An expert committee conducts a further evaluation of the applications, based on which the final admission decisions are made.

The final selection results will be announced following the completion of the expert assessment.
