East European University Research Center for Migration and Diaspora Studies and Department of Scientific Research and Development with the support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Parliamentary Committee on Diaspora and Caucasus Issues are pleased to invite you to participate in student scientific conference “Migration and Diaspora – global challenges”, which will take place at East European University on November 18th, 2021.
Aim of the conference: to promote awareness about migration and diaspora issues and identify the challenges and opportunities from the students’ perspective.
Target audience of the conference: conference is open for graduate and undergraduate students of any university, who have an interest in migration and diaspora-related issues.
Topics of the conference: it may include but are not limited to the following:
- Migration and Integration;
- Rights of lebour Migrants;
- Climate Change and Eco migrants;
- Children and Youth migrants;
- Gender and migration;
- Forcible migration;
- War and migration;
- Economic crises and migration;
- Role of scientific diaspora in countries development;
- Transnationalism, culture and diaspora;
- Diaspora engagement in the process of sustainable economic development;
- Impact of diaspora on foreign policy.
