About Representative Council
East European University Representative Board is the highest representative body of the University, which aims to promote the effective management and development of the University, to ensure openness, transparency and involvement of the University community in the management and activities of the University through shared decision-making.
The composition of the Board of Representatives is determined by 11 members. 5 members are included in the Board according to their job position, and 6 members are elected. The affiliated academic staff and students of the University are included in the board as elected members. The number of academic staff and students elected to the Board is determined by 3-3 members, one member from each faculty of the University
Entities with the right to be members of the Board of Representatives:
- Academic staff member of the Board of Representatives may become an Affiliate Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor of the University who is not a member of another elective collegiate body of the University.
- Student member of the Board of Representatives may become a student with active status of the University who is not a member of another elective collegial body of the University and/or the self-government. A student may become a member of the board from the second semester of study.
Election of the Members of the Board of Representatives
The academic staff and student members of the Board of Representatives are elected by the relevant faculty councils, which reviews the substantiated applications submitted by the candidates to the Board of Representatives. Evaluates candidate motivation and involvement in university student life. Faculty council is also authorized to interview candidates.
The Faculty Board makes a decision at a meeting by voting in favor of the candidate whose participation in the activities of the Board of Representatives is considered productive.

Affiliated academic staff and students of Healthcare Faculty wishing to become members of the Board of Representatives must send reasoned application by e-mail to: healthcare@eeu.edu.ge – from 3 August to 5 August 2020.
Affiliated academic staff and students of Law and Social Sciences Faculty wishing to become members of the Board of Representatives must send reasoned application by e-mail to: law-social@eeu.edu.ge – from 3 August to 5 August 2020.
Affiliated academic staff and students of Business and Engineering Faculty wishing to become members of the Board of Representatives must send reasoned application (must be submitted to the academic staff and student form sheet) by e-mail to: business@eeu.edu.ge– from 3 August to 5 August 2020.
