🎬 The aim of the EEU Movie Club is to deepen students’ interest in the art of cinema, develop critical and creative thinking, and promote an understanding of film as a cultural, social, and educational medium.
The Club encourages the discussion of current social issues through cinema, fosters intercultural dialogue, and promotes a culture of academic discussion.
Main Activities:
🎥 Screening of Georgian and international films
💬 Post-screening discussions and analysis
🎞 Thematic film evenings (genres, eras, directors)
👥 Meetings with film directors, actors, and industry professionals
📝 Preparation of student film reviews and analytical papers
🎬 Support for the creation of student short films
🌍 Online participation in and discussions of international film festivals
