EEU Quality Assurance Service, in order to fulfill university mission and goals, strives to establish a unified understanding of the quality culture at university. For this purpose, it ensures that each unit within the university and each party involved in the Quality Assurance processes are provided with the full information about the internal quality assurance processes within the university, as well as the procedure for using the quality assessment results. This ensures that each of them is able to assure the quality of one’s activities and foster the introduction and sharing of the quality culture.
Quality Assurance Service provides the evaluation and development of the quality of university performance and bases its activity on national and international standards.
The aim of Quality Assurance Service is to provide continuous and systemic administration of using internal quality assurance mechanisms and fostering the development of university performance based on internal and external evaluations.
Quality Assurance Service cooperates with the appropriate units of Georgian or international higher education institutions, international organizations and experts to share the best practices and implement them at the university.
In order to ensure the effective Quality Assurance processes, the service constantly cooperates with interested parties and is oriented to make the results of the activities of the service available to every interested party.
Quality Assurance Service presents the annual progress report to the university senate.
EEU Quality Assurance Service is represented by competent and motivated team, with experience as the external reviewers, knowledge and experience of the specificities of working at the higher education institution.
The main outcome of the quality assurance service, as the unit responsible for university quality management and evaluation, is expressed as the fulfillment of the recommendations provided.
The Quality Assurance Service uses the proactive approach to ensure the high involvement of and relevant feedback from the interested parties involved in the processes (students, staff, alumni, employers, partner organizations).
The successful activity of the Quality Assurance service and the high quality of conducted evaluations are proven by the positive outcomes of the external evaluations: successful accreditation processes, as well as internal evaluations and survey results, which prove the satisfaction with quality assurance service’s activities, as well as with the effectiveness of the mechanisms.
The effort of the Quality Assurance Service is directed towards the development of the quality assurance system, as well as the capacity development of the team responsible for quality assurance, so that the quality assurance system implemented at the East European University comply with international standards and the activity of the service reliable, effective and of high quality!
