On November 25, 2023 the 3rd online Scientific-Practical conference titled: “Digital Management to Shape the Future”
was organized by East European University (Tbilisi, Georgia) and Electronic Commerce Institute (Cologne, Germany), with the support of the Friedrich Ebert-Stiftung Foundation, the German Entrepreneurship Organization (FGF) and Adelphi University (USA).
The conference opened Prof. Dr. Shalva Machavarian, Vice Rector of East European University for Scientific Affairs and Prof. Dr. Richard Geibel, director of the Electronic Commerce Institute (Cologne, Germany).
The participants of the conference were addressed with a welcome speech by: Dr. Kakhaber Lazarashvili, rector of East European University and Dr. David Cherkezishvili; Head of the Academic Board of East European University;
The conference was held in the following sections:
– Digitization in business, moderator, Prof. Dr. Richard Geibel, Director, Institute of Electronic Commerce (Cologne, Germany)
– Digitization in society, moderated by Prof. Dr. Giorgi Tavadze, head of the Varlam Cherkezishvili Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of East European University
– Digitization in education, moderated by Prof. Dr. Giorgi Ghaganidze, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics of Tbilisi State University.

The conference was attended by researchers, practitioners, master’s and doctoral students, both from the organizer of the conference and from other higher educational institutions.
At the end of the conference, the moderators of the sections announced the winners in the following nominations:
– the best presenter;
– a young scientist.

The organizers of the conference announced the 4th international scientific-practical conference “Digital Management and Artificial Intelligence”, which will be held in October 2024 in Cologne (Germany) in a hybrid format.
