The State of Latvia announces the admission of students and researchers to scholarship programs for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s students, who have already completed at least 1 academic year at any higher education institution (HEI);
- Master’s, and D. students from higher education institutions (HEI)
Amount of the scholarship:
- €500 per month for Bachelor’s or Master’s students;
- €700 per month for PhD students
Application documents:
- Copy of a letter from the higher education institution (HEI)
- Curriculum vitae (CV);
- Letter of motivation;
- Proof of education (Diploma and supplements or transcript of records of the last 2 semesters);
- Letters of recommendation;
- Study plan;
- Copy of language certificate
Application conditions:
- An applicant must choose a study program at a Latvian HEI before the application for a scholarship;
- An applicant must receive a letter of acceptance for the chosen study program from the Latvian HEI before the application for a scholarship.
The call for applications is open from 1 February to 1 April.
