On January 21, at 13:00, a public lecture on Personal Data Protection will be held for East European University students and employees (academic and administrative staff).
The goal of the meeting is to raise awareness of the issue.
Speaker: Sopio Shamugia, Acting Head of the Planned Inspection Department of the Personal Data Protection Service.
Topics and discussion issues:
- Mandate of the Personal Data Protection Service;
- Scheme of the legality of personal data processing (Legal bases of data processing and principles of data processing);
- Data security and the rights of a data subject.
The public lecture is held at the initiative of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the East European University and organized by the Center for Lifelong Education.
