Dr. Maka Kartozia is a member of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at East European University and the Head of the Bachelor Law Program, She is an Accreditation Expert for Higher Education Programs at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

Dr. Maka Kartozia has many years of pedagogical and professional experience in both the private and public sectors. She is the author of about 15 scientific papers and textbooks, participant and organizer of numerous local and international conferences, seminars and workshops. She has passed the qualification exams for judges and lawyers. She is a founding member of the Georgian Bar Association.
