Dr. Besik Meurmishvili has many years of scientific, pedagogical and professional experience. In different years he was the head of the General Inspection Department of the Ministry of Justice, the Prosecutor of the General Inspection of the Chief Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, as well as the Prosecutor of the Training Center of the General Prosecutor’s Office.

Dr. Besik Meurmishvili is actively engaged in scientific-research activities. He is a speaker and participant of numerous international and local conferences, the author of various scientific publications and papers, including the co-author of the textbook – “Georgian Criminal Procedure Law”. He is also a member of the Program Development Committee of East European University.
