Speaker: Dr Kanna Katheravelu Ramaesh – MBBS, MS, FRCSEd, FRCOphth; Consultant Ophthalmologist, Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, College of Medical Veterinary and Life Sciences, University of Glasgow
Dr Ramaesh completed his ophthalmic training in the UK, Sydney and Sri Lanka and has been a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in corneal, external eye diseases and dry eye disorders at Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, since 2003.
Dr Ramaesh has a proven track record in research and has contributed to over 95 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and has held a number of research grants. His research interests include corneal stem cells and ocular surface regeneration.
