Dr. Davit Cherkezishvili is the Chair of Academic Committee of the East European University. He has many years of professional experience working in the field of management, including education administration. In different years he served as the Head of Department at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Deputy General Director of N. Kipshidze First University Clinic, Director of Referral Hospital, Project Manager of JSC “Park Place”, Manager of various regional centers in the energy sector. He is currently the Founder / Partner of East European University, holds a PhD in Business Administration and a Master of Laws.

Dr. Davit Cherkezishvili is actively involved in scientific research activities. He is the author of one monograph, more than ten international and local publications, speaker and moderator of numerous local and international scientific conferences, organizer of research and social-educational projects. He is an Honorary Doctor of the Warsaw University of Humanities and a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal The New Economist (Georgia). His main research areas are education management and business administration.
