Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between the EEU and the WWSH. The rector of the EEU, Dr David Cherkezishvili, and the chancellor of the WWSH, Mr Zbigniew Adam Cheda, signed the MOU.
The memorandum envisages developing and promoting academic and scientific cooperation between the universities. In particular, exchange of students and staff, implementation of joint research projects, exchange of educational and scientific materials, as well as sharing of experience.
The heads of delegation, Mr Zbigniew Adam Cheda and prof. Piotr Jaceck Rozwadowski were awarded the titles of Doctor Honoris Causa. At the award ceremony, the rector of the EEU, Dr David Cherkezishvili, granted them diplomas and souvenirs.
At the end of the visit, the guests visited the new campus of EEU and outlined future cooperation plans.
